Happy Mother's Day!

Bryan spent the weekend in Texas to celebrate our friend Keith's wedding. My lovely Debster flew in for the weekend to spend time with the kids and me, and to watch the kids for me while I ran a half marathon. The half marathon was very hilly and the weather was cold and rainy. Not my best run, but my running partners rocked it. Anyway...

Bryan was so thoughtful that he returned from Texas today with a Mother's Day gift ready and a card that said the following:

I love being married to you and the life we share.

I love counting the years we've been together and growing older with you.

Because no matter what may change on the outside,

inside we're the same as when we first started out - crazy about each other.

I can't stop giggling over this card. How did it get past the editor's at Carlton Cards? Because all I'm thinking is, what's changing on the outside?!! Who's getting older?! Umm, thank you?
