Give that to me, please!
We went to Ohio last weekend to visit Mamaw. She is in the middle of a course of chemotherapy treatments and we hoped our visit would cheer her and give Erin a little help. We had a great time. Mamaw was doing much better than we expected and on Saturday we had an impromptu party at the nursing home eating soup beans and corn bread. There was even live music. A man was playing an accordian in the lobby, which was a little surreal! I think the visit made us as happy as it did Mamaw. We stayed with Bryan's Uncle Tim and Aunt Raean and they made us feel more than at home. We had a comfy room to stay in and a lot of great food. Their house is even stocked with toys so Jill thought she was in heaven. We accidentally swiped a toy cell phone that Jill particularly likes.
This morning Jill was playing with the toy cell phone and Bryan reached out his hand and asked "Can I have that?" And Jill handed it to him! It was awesome. She would give it to him whenever he asked. So cute.
Later this afternoon I gave Jill a napkin to crinkle and play with. I asked, "Can I have that?" And she would put it in my hand (without letting go of it), take it back and laugh. Was she toying with me? Is she capable of that already? I'll let you know what I see in the next couple of days.
Other than that it has been a rough couple of days for Jill. It looks like her 4th and 5th teeth are on the way and she is super fussy. She is also getting really close to crawling so her frustration level is high!
