Starting the Day

When Jill wakes up in the morning she calls me to get her and then chatters away in a random stream of consciousness while I sleepily put her through the paces of changing her diaper and combing her hair.

Here is a snippet from this morning's one-sided conversation.  "Mummy, I sleep really well.  We need to change my jammies.  This is my favorite teddy.  I like babies and rainbows."  At which point I woke up enough to give her a really good hug.
