Early Morning

Peter has always been an early riser, but last week Bryan made a life changing discovery. When Peter wakes up at 5:30, if we take him to the potty and put him back in bed, he'll sleep for another 30-45 minutes.

Just now I heard a peep from Peter. I went in his room and asked, "Do you need to go potty?" He said, "Yeah," in a whisper. As I carried him into the bathroom he said, "I love you," and kissed my shoulder.

After he was done, I tucked him back in bed and he said, "I need a dream." So I gave him our go to dream, "Dream that Lightning McQueen and Chuck (the dump truck) are having a race and then they are going to the beach with Jacqui and Anna."

Hearing this, Peter smiled and turned to snuggle into his pillow. He is a doll.
