Cavener News

Bryan and I previously have documented nothing. From the last nine years we have no photos, no journals, nada. But now we're turning over a new leaf and we're hoping to use this as baby books for Jill and Peter.

The Lunchbox

Peter is more than happy most of the time to let his staff (i.e. Nana and me) carry his things, put his shoes on for him, etc.  Come to think of it, his staff might be larger than just the two of us.  It includes Jill and Peter's friend Shannon too!

As we were leaving church today I realized how ridiculous I was, laden with the bags of three people while the kids were free to swing their arms and think great thoughts.  I stopped and divided up the load.  Handing Peter his lunchbox, I said, "Here you go, Buddy.  This is your responsibility.  Carry it to the car and climb up in your seat please."

Peter complied.  When we got home, he started to get out the car but said, "Wait!  I need my responsibility!"  Then he hustled back for the lunchbox.
