Daddy help you?
This is my favorite thing Jill is saying now. If Jill's struggling with something like a puzzle piece or a Mr Potato-head feature that's stuck, she'll lead one of us by the hand to what she's doing and say for example, "Mommy help you?" She's probably heard us all say, "Do you want Daddy/Mommy/Nana to help you?" and she has her pronouns mixed up. This weekend Bryan was working on his laptop at the dining room table when Jill started tugging on his hand saying, "Come on. Daddy help you?"
It's so cute and probably one of those things we'll say for years. Like one time when Jacqui was about 3, Becky cleaned her car and found a beloved stuffed fish of Jacqui's that had gone missing. Jacqui cheered, "Hey, it's my fishy!" We still say that when we find something out of the blue that we have been missing.
